APPSC Group 1 eligibility 2026
Educational qualification
For post codes 01 to 03 and 05 to 13, a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university established by a Central, State or Provincial Act, or an institution recognised by the UGC, or an equivalent qualification.
For post code 04, DSP (Communications), a B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or Radio Engineering.
Physical requirements
Post codes 03 and 04 — the two police posts — carry physical standards. Height, chest and physical efficiency requirements are set out in the detailed notification.

Age limits and community-wise relaxations will be published with the detailed notification on or before 6 October 2026, and will be reckoned as on that date.

Stage 1 — Screening test (Preliminary)
Offline, objective type, OMR based. Two papers of 120 questions and 120 marks each.
